The tour begins with a journey through the extraordinary rainforest of Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of Costa Rica’s most important reserves, which also serves as a natural boundary between the Caribbean and the Central Valley.
Live an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Costa Rica’s tropical rainforest, an experience that combines nature, wildlife, exploration and spectacular landscapes in one of the most biodiverse regions in the country.
Our tour begins by crossing the impressive Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important protected areas in Costa Rica, characterized by its mountains covered with lush vegetation and practically virgin tropical forests.
As we descend towards the Sarapiquí region, in the northeast of the country, we will discover an area recognized worldwide for its extraordinary natural wealth. This region is home to an incredible diversity of flora and fauna, making it an ideal destination for lovers of nature and wildlife observation.
Upon arrival, we will board a boat for a relaxing tour of the Sarapiquí River. While we navigate its calm waters, we will have the opportunity to observe various species of animals in their natural habitat, including monkeys, iguanas, sloths, tropical birds, alligators and many other species that inhabit the rainforest.
Later we will visit the private trails of Selva Verde Eco Lodge, a nature reserve that is a true paradise for bird watchers, photographers and nature lovers. During the walk, accompanied by our naturalist guide, we will learn more about the different tropical ecosystems, the medicinal flora, the ancient trees and the extraordinary biodiversity that characterizes this region of Costa Rica.
At the end of the walk, we will enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the tranquility and beauty of the tropical forest.
On the way back to San José we will visit the famous Rainforest Aerial Tram, a unique experience that allows you to explore the forest canopy from a completely different perspective. Aboard comfortable gondolas and accompanied by a naturalist guide, we will rise gently above the jungle to observe the vegetation, fauna and complex structure of one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on the planet.
For those looking for an extra dose of adrenaline, there is the option to replace the tram tour with an exciting canopy or zip line adventure, which includes seven cables through the rainforest, offering stunning panoramic views and a thrill-filled experience.
This private reserve protects approximately 475 hectares of tropical forest and shares more than 10 kilometers of border with the Braulio Carrillo National Park, forming an important biological corridor that contributes to the conservation of numerous species of flora and fauna.
An ideal experience for those who want to discover the incredible biodiversity of Costa Rica, combining adventure, nature and wildlife observation in a single day.
